Isabel Munárriz Arrieta

Isabel is a New York attorney whose practice focuses on cross-border estate matters, including the administration of estates involving  nonresident decedents with U.S. assets. She holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University and joined The Village Law Firm in September 2024.

 

Before joining The Village Law Firm, Isabel spent more than 13 years at international law firms advising non-U.S. clients on U.S. legal matters. She worked with attorneys in tax, corporate, bankruptcy, white-collar defense, and other practice areas to help clients address complex legal issues involving multiple jurisdictions.

 

Her practice focuses on assisting executors, administrators, and beneficiaries with cross-border estate administration matters. Her work includes preparing U.S. estate tax returns, obtaining federal transfer certificates, and handling ancillary probate and estate administration proceedings in New York. She also assists individuals and families with essential estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
